I have been having problems trying to install the wiikey. First I have updated to version 3.0u. I am able to load the setup disk but then get an error message. I have attempted to use the GCoS, and the disk is not recognized. I burned both disks using the same media and speed. I have read that the type of chipset you have can be uncompatible with the wii, mine is D1. I just purchased my US WII a few weeks ago. Can anyone please help me. THANKS

Can you provide a photo of your install and the drives IC chip? I'm not sure what the D1 chip is. Latest chip should be a D2C which supposedly none of the modchips will work on.

Actually I've discovered that the chipset that I have is the D2B, so it shouldn't be an issue. Still I can not get the GCoS to run.

Have you tried different media? Its either a bad or bridged connection or you need to try different media.

Head over to psx-scene.com

Basically, you need to change the file slightly to allow it to boot. Then swap over to the original wiikey config disc and go from there.
