Okay I am not tech savvy at all! We bought the sony dcr-sr40 camcorder at xmas and have taken a couple of videos since then but not transfered them to dvd. We used it at my sil wedding and when we transfered the wedding footage to dvd there are breaks in the video that would correspond to when the files on the camera are. In other words when I look at the lcd screen on the camare the video is broken down into files, each being about 30 seconds long of footage, and when we transfered them to the dvd as your watching the video it stops at each of the intervals. It is really annoying. I want it to be a steady stream of video. We did not stop filming at these points so why does it pause. When we watch it from the camera it does not have these pauses. It there a way to get rid of this? Are we doing something wrong in the transfer? We hit the seamless tranfer option on the software. We do not do editing of our video. I want a camera that I point, shoot, record and tranfer without problems. I thought this was what i was getting. Please advise if you understand what I am trying to say. I do not know technical terms for any of this. Thanks for any help.
