Its so anoying!, i stupidly moved up from 3.03 oe-c to 3.40oe a and first there was problems with the internet browser, then i couldnt access the configuration in recovery mode. Also when i changed my background theme it would turn be black when i turned it on again. And most anoying of all my Metal gear solid Portable ops wouldnt boot.

So i decided to go for M33's latest and MGS still wont boot i just get a black screen.

Does anyone have any tips to get this game to run? And whats the best way to get back to 3.03oe-c

(i wish dark_alex was back)

http://www.sendspace.com/file/454l5j go there to get the 1.50 winstaller
put it on your desktop connect psp to computer via usb double click on the 1.50 recovery and follow instructions
once the process is finished turn off psp and boot up in recovery menu
now go to run programme at psp/game/recovery/eboot and press x press x again when asked to and in a few seconds you'll be back on 1.50 you can go to any cfw from there

dont mess with the fw m8....

its all in the 3.40oe recovery mode(im using tis cfw so dont know bout 3.52 m33)...

1st,go to configuration, enable 1st 2 options, set the kernel to 3.40,n disable all other 4 options below it.

then go to advanced/advance configuration n disable all three options there...

there u go enjoy the MGS ops...

mgs po works perfectly on m33 3.52 - go into recovery and under config set the UMD mode to no umd - Sony NP9660 - it works fine - ive done it myself.

Please dont use computer language too much because i dont get it.. yeah?

Well after a lot of messing around i got it running

I went back to 1.50 and then to old trusty 3.03 oe-c but still there was issues with the configuration menu in recovery (the screen would just go blank and turn off). The psp also had my old screen saver saved so OE's were leaving stuff on my flash.

In the end i upgraded to 3.52 M33 and still no luck with mgs untill i updated to M33-2 and what so you know its working with Sony loader no umd option.

Thank you for all your help!

Any one know how to clear my flash of the old OE stuff?
