LOL you noobs looked in hopes for an exploit but NO
Heres how you downgrade.
BUY A PSP 1.5 from ebay for one hundred dollars AFTER SELLING YOUR psp for $70 at a pawn shop
then get a fu*king job and buy the damned thing from ebay and hav fun hacking your PSP

Here at EBGames they'll give $90 (which is tax free) so you'd be paying less for the PSP then going to a pawn shop :P

I'm in Canada, they retail here atm for 199.99 new and 149.99 used, but tax (.14%) but you get $90 and it's tax free, so you'd be paying $114 for a new one...
I seriously think this thread should be killed though..

Actually the tax is 13%, since GST is now 6%.

Actually the tax is 13%, since GST is now 6%.
Sorry mate, tax is 14%. It was 15%, but no longer. :) I work for the Canadian government as well as EBgames.. and if you did the math it wouldn't work out with .13% lol

well whats totally lame is A pawn shop here in America wanted $140 USD for a used PSP non TA-82 motherbaord and FW version 2.60
HE KNEW NOTHING ABOUT THEM AND HE WAS CHARGING NEAR RETAIL PRICE!!!!
I hate people with blue skin.

Hmm, just realizing how stuck on money people can be and complaining about it is HARDLY juvenile.
I find it hilarious how you try to use your intellect to reign upon other ppl and make them feel less than yourself, but in this case i guess you tried to make me feel less mature.

Ok, so take your business elsewhere if you think its too much to pay..Thats how pawn shops operate player...They charge double of what they paid out for it regardless of whether or not the guy has knowledge of its capability of running homebrew, and if it can be downgraded or not...They charge what they think would be a fair market value...I mean most of the eb games/gamestop still sell used ones for $149.99-and some sell theirs for $129.99-So its not that far off..

But seriously... if you can swallow knives.. you could make some money off that ;)
We sell used PSPs for 149.99 CAD and trade them in at $70CAD (what we give you) (WOW they just lowered that, I'll pay more in cash ;) ).
Such a bummer.. capitalism, meh.

Well, you know he speaks the truth, if people that went and upgraded to 3.52 and really want homebrew: They could just sell their PSP and get a 1.50...
Everything's so cheap in the US, i'd pay like £30 to get from a 3.52 to a 1.50 any day (Not that i have to).

He could've named the title something else other than Downgrade for 3.52.I'd pay 50 pounds for a downgrade from 3.52 to 1.50.If you download ISO you can be saving up loads.
