Need Help learning how to use the cheat device
can anybody tell me how to use it.

if you're talking about CWcheat.....download. extract. open up the folder MS_ROOT and in there will be a seplugins folder, copy that folder and paste it in the root of your memory stick. take the dbdownload folder and paste in the GAME150 folder. turn off your psp completly and turn back on while holding R-trigga. go to Plugins and enable all 3 of them (the newest version should have 3). exit and start your game. hold select for a few seconds to get the menu to come up and do not stay in menu for too long or it will freeze. and you must have custom firmware for this to work. you cnanot get it on 3.51+ any more. hope this helps.

i just told you how to install it^^^^^. and dl.qj.net is where to get the newer versions or simply google it. but i know qj has it.

well i got it already but some of the folders you told me about aren't in my psp. Do i just add them to the psp.

format your memory stick and it will make the folder. by the way, what psp firmware version do you have?

i don't know it came with devhook i got.but if you give me your email ill send you the program so you can check i just learned about this yesterday while looking for cheats for gta vcs.

okay well upgrade to 3.52 M33 and then it'll be easier i think you're on 1.50 tho... hmm not good. you need to upgrade. check what fw you have in the system settings> system info okay? i do not get what you're saying above me.^^? rephrase it please xD

there's your problem, you need a custom firmware to install it because on sony fw you cannot install or enable plugins.

oh the firmware is 2.71 and the devhook is 0.46. ANd where do i get the custom firmware that i need.

downgrade to 2.71 (check your mobo version becasue there are 2 different downgraders for 2 different versions). no games are needed. it'll take you to firmware version 1.50. from there upgrade to custom firmware. why did you say you had version 3.52 then? and careful cuz u can break your psp if you mess up the downgrade.

NO!!!! dont upgrade to 3.52 or you will NEVER play homebrew!!!!jeez ur in a good position right now so just downgrade away and upgrade to custom firmware, it's the simple life my friend.

First you say you're running devhook, which you CAN NOT run with the latest OFFICIAL firmware version (3.52), and NOW you're saying it came with 3.52?!?!?!? WHICH IS IT??????

no i said that my devhook came with 2.71 firmware and that my psp has the latest network update(update that lets you play newer games.) for the psp.

i just found this thread on google... sorry to hi-jack it lol.
Ive just got CGTA: VCS cheat device v 2.3, put the plugin in seplugins and added the line ms0:/seplugins/vcscheatdevice.prx in the game.txt file. Also enabled in recovery menu.
Could you guys help me on this please? i dont know how to use it or if ive done it right... Help would be greatly appreciated, thanks :)
PS, im only doing this so i can make him fly like superman lol

okay i dunt think you can install it then since you are on 3.52...are you even on 3.52???? you're so unclear bro. uve confused me so much. just go to system info and check right now! are you on 2.71 or 3.52, its not a hard question. once u told me 2.71 now 3.52.

Lets start over. Forget everything that has been said before.
Go to your system settings and tell us what version firmware it says. Dont mention Devhook, or what it came with, or ask to send the files to someone to look at. Just answer this question.
What version are you currently running?
