Could you tell me how did you update your firmware to 3.0J?

The compatibility list @ http://wiki.gbatemp.net/index.php?title=...C-J_.28Japan.29 states that Boogie is OK with 3.0J. But since the update request still pops out, I don't you think you should risk your Wii

It should be fine. I think it just updates to enable usb microphone compatibility. After my update ran it still shows 3.0. Everyone that wants to play Boogie will have to run the update on the disk.

Does this mean that Japanese version Boogie may contain an firmware udpate for 3.0J?

Does it semi-brick your wii if you apply the US boogie update on 3.0J?

NEVER update from a different region disc. I only update thru wiiconnect24. Anyway the Boogie update is for the USB mic not 3.0 firmware anyone can confirm this?

Boogie is reported to work fine on 3.0J but does brick 2.2J.

Problem is that (this is the first game... and it is baaaad news for the future...!) if you apply WiiBrickBlocker on it it won't launch.

I did not try this game myself, I don't own it, so can't be sure if it is safe or not though...

But every post I've read about it on 3.0J say it has no problem, does an update (or at least shows a testing...) but does not brick anything and plays fine.

Keep us informed in here !

US Boogie on JPN Wii with 3.0J : updates (probably for the microphone support and if you apply Wiibrickblocker it won't work) but does not brick. It's safe, you can play with no worry !
