Kingdom Hearts 2 possible fix??

ok so we THINK that kingdom hearts wants to open another elf off the CD that isn't really there (HDloader).

well I have a couple ideas!!

1) To test and see if that is the case burn a copy of the game, test it with a mod chip to see if it works, then boot HDloader, run the game, load a save before the gummie ship and replace the HDloader cd with your copy, if it doesn't freeze then we know 100% that the game is running code that has a directory on the cd (which isn't there when HDloader is running solo)

2) If that test shows that it is in fact looking for another elf all we have to do is extract the elf into a directory on the hard drive and point the game to that directory instead of the CD.

I couldn't say for sure if this will work, but my guess is that if it did indeed work then it would crash on exit of the elf (trying to find the original elf) but then we could point it in the direction of the original...so I don't think an ISO format is possible unless you can browse them as well, then this would be an easier fix.

of course this is all speculation. I don't own the game nor do I have a mod chip to even test my theories.

btw are there any other known games with multiple elfs?? and if so how were they fixed?? if they were fixed :-\
