I tried finding cheap Wiimotes also but the best option for me was buying Wii Play. It is 50 dollars and a Wiimote is 40 dollars so you get the game for basically 10 dollars. If you buy a few, you could just resell the game on E-Bay. I did and I got like 20-30 dollars for my Wii Plays. That makes your Wiimote cost around 20-30 dollars. I hope that helps.
