Divx or Xvid program like DVD Shrink?

I have been using Dvd Shrink for years, it's such a great little program. I have recently purchased a Tvisto media player with a 500 GB hard drive. I rip all my dvd's to an .iso with Shrink and then transfer them to my Tvisto. It's a very convienient way to play my dvd's. However my ripped .iso's are about 4.35 GB in size, so I'm limited to about 100 dvd's with the 500 GB hard drive. I would like to find a way to compress my dvd's even further with dvix or xvid. In the past I have tried to do this but became frustraded with the complexity and time it takes to compress a dvd. Is there a simple one or two step solution like Shrink that will do this? Also, I would like to keep all the menu's and subtitles if possible.

There are lots of DVD to divx converters available. None are wicked fast; conversion takes time. You might give RatDVD a try. DVDs will be compressed to 1-2 GB in size.
