One of its biggest updates is support on popsloader 3.30. But before we get ahead of ourselves, here's a sneek peek of the changelog that's been posted online (now translated to English):

UPDATES:
Recovery Menu:

Added processor speed - 75 and 133
Added access to flash2 and flash3
Added "vshmenu" allowing you to dump a UMD to a computer
XMB:

Added support for UMD VIDEO images using vshmenu Selection

You can download it at
www.m-33.narod.ru

ps2gen dude add some more info when posting man!!!! but nice still...

IMPORTANT: agree with LICENSE.TXT conditions before installing the program.

Changes:

- Added more speeds: 75 and 133.
- Added flash2 and flash3 usb to recovery
- Added a setting in recovery to change the usb device to which XMB will connect.
- Added "vshmenu", which is a menu that will appear when HOME is pressed in the XMB. It will interfere with existing
XMB plugins that use HOME, so it can be disabled in recovery.
- Added umd video iso support. The umd video isos are playes using vshmenu. Video isos go in
/ISO/VIDEO folder. They require an UMD inserted because NO-UMD does not work.

Changes in popsloader:

- Support for 3.30 firmware. Instructions are same as in previous release, except 3.30
firmware did not have libpspvmc.prx, so just ignore that file.
- Warning: There is an incompatibility between 3.30 savedata and later ones. If a savedata exists from 3.40+, the emulator will freeze.

Some notes about the usage of vshmenu, and umd video isos:

- vshmenu cannot be loaded when the browser is active. If you exit the browser, the firmware will
still keep it in memory until you enter other area of xmb, until you do so, you will not be able
to access vshmenu again either.
- video isos and the game isos show in xmb use the same core. Due to this, when you enter in game
menu and there is some iso, if a video iso was currently mounted, it will automatically be unmounted.

- cso format is not supported for video isos.

- UMD audio isos are theoretically supported, but not tested. They go to /ISO/VIDEO.

================================================== ==================================
A statement about the recent things on the PSP Scene.
================================================== ==================================

We give our support to Team Wilcard and condemn the actions of the leakers/thieves.

As facts are better than words, this program may refuse to work on your system if you:

- Downloaded it from ps3news.
- You are an active member of that forums's page.
- You visit frequently that page.

In last case, and only last case, the problem will be fixed if you delete browser cache of both,
psp and pc, and stop visiting that site.

Other cases of BAN are described in the LICENSE.TXT.
Not respecting the license will bring the PSP to BRICK, because the program will refuse to run.

I'll try it. I've downgraded from 3.40OE-A to 1.50. I've now upgraded to 3.52 M33. Do I install update #2 and then update #3 or can I skip the second and go straight to the third?

EDIT:
Anyone with instructions? The second update requires to copy 3 .prx files and rename it with -352.prx, then place those copies in the update folder on the memory stick. What's the procedure for this update? And no the .txt files do NOT include instructions. they include a lot of garbage (We're not responsible, don't mess with us), but no instructions.

There is no excuse NOT to mod! Don't follow the rules, make them!

you do know you could have gone directly to m33 from 3.40 oe and no you only have to have the 3rd update

I know I could have gone from 3.40OE-A to 3.52 M33, but I like flashing my PSP. Where's the fun if there isn't that little extra risk of bricking involved? lol. Anyway, can I update straight to #3 with no prx modifications like you said, or must I go from 3.52 M33 -> update #2 -> update #3?

It worked. I went straight to update #3. I find it funny that they say if you're a fan of PS3News, the update won't work! lol. A desparate attempt to stop PS3News ... very desparate.

How anyone noticed that with 3.52 M33-3, there is an unknown folder. %:\ISO\VIDEO. I've deep formatted my PSP and then formatted it within the PSP and the folder must be a systems folder because each time I delete it and format it, the PSP recreates the folder. I placed an AVI movie file in the folder and it shows up as corrupt data. I placed an MP4 video file in the folder and same thing. I moved the MP4 video file to $:\VIDEO\ and it recognizes it and plays it. So ... what's with the VIDEO folder under the ISO directory?

Well, he is a Mega_n00b...

But yes, the ISO/VIDEO folder is designed for the added support of ISOs of UMD Movies.

All you have to do is stick the file on your psp and run it, simple as. It can be installed straight from 3.52 M33, you don't have to go up to 3.52 M33-2.
