Infinity v1.82 problem

Heres some info:

Playstation 2
NTSC J
SCPH-77006 CB
Infinity v1.82

currently my PS2 can only play some games(backup ones).
some other don't work, it just stuck at black screen after the Infinity v1.82 Logo disappear.
btw my Infinity v1.82 is pre-installed into PS2 when i first brought it home.

i dunno the problem, so i searched the web and found out that i can do some setting in the Infinity Configuration Menu. i try to make some changes to see if it can work. But as soon as i press the start button (as the instruction said)the whole screen hangs. i tried pressing all button but no response at all.
So i move on to my next move, Upgrade the firmware to Infinity v1.93 the latest. i download the firmware then burn into CD. i insert it to my PS2, it loads. But it stuck at the Upgrade menu "Press Start to Upgrade Firmware". i press start but nothing is happening. maybe the CD was not burned correctly? or maybe i cant install v1.93 at v1.82?

anyone have any idea?
-Why my Infinity v1.82 won't load some backup game and some will.
-Why do my Infinity configuration hang after pressing start button.
-Why my v1.93 hangs
