lol is right, you're funny! Why on Earth if you were planning on using custom Firmware would you update it to 3.52? Even if you didn't know that there is no downgrader for 3.51+, shouldn't common sense kick in and say don't do anything with it until properly researched? Well, now that I'm down bashing, there is no downgrader and one should not be expected soon. There are rumors floating about an Evil exploit, but that's all it is ... rumors. The best that we've come is reverse the 3.52 EBOOT , i.e. 3.52 M33-3. But no downgrader. Exchange the PSP back to the store you bought it from claiming dead pixels or something. Most stock PSP are Firmware 2.71 or 2.81 (Official). These can be downgraded.

lol dead pixels... unless they don't check it you're screwed :P If you're in the warranty you might want to check the warranty conditions and brick it or something.. (we check the systems where I work, and we'd kick you in the head if you said it had dead pixels cause you were on 3.52 :P ). Perhaps a big box store wouldn't have the time (or knowledge) to check the system..
Oh, and the moment I heard about this evil exploit I sneaked away all the copies from where I work... all reserved for me! muhahahaaha
