hi all,

i currently use a pioneer 104 writer on a pentium2 setup, dont need anything faster at the moment as it does the job.

my question is, is there any benefit to be had from using datasafe 4x ritek g04 on a 2x writer as apposed to the datasafe 2x ritek disks i.e would they be more reliable.

thanks tony

Hey, well if you use a 4x DVD-R it will most likely have better quality if you burn it at 2x then using a 2x DVD-r and burning it at 2x, but its up to you, I would stick with the 4 x but if you want to spend less money buy the 2x's

Peace

Peace out!

Why should the 4x be any better? Don't use any 4x discs unless you have upgraded your firmware as otherwise you may cause damage to your 104 burner.
