having a hard time trying to figure out where to use the multimeter on the gamecube. not sure where to check which points to check to get the reading. the guide on modthat cube was perfect but the site is down. 90 percent of the games i burn either don't run at all or the stop after 5-10 minutes. is this the laser or media problems.
any suggestions, thanks in advance

if you've booted at least one game ,that means that you're chip or soft mod is installed successfully.put your POT at 200 at then start decreasing by ten or five ohms. some weird chips can boot games at 300 hundred or so ohms.

by the way,can you help me with my post,I need help with my mod chip too

Thanks!

the pot thing is under the DVD drive.First, open up the gamecube and then remove all the screws around the metal shielding.then, remove the the six screws under the metal shielding. The pot is the tiny black square ,put the two probes on the two sides that have metal around the black square.Put one on each side.Adjust the pot to 175 and see if you can play better. If you are playing the game successfully and a screen comes up that says error reading disc, your gamecube may be overheated and then turn up the pot by ten ohms.

My post is the one that says "installed a Xeno and I don't get a led light"it's in the first page.

Hope this helped...
