What kind of DVD drive do the recently produced Xbox360's come with?

If I were to just walk into a store and buy a premium 360 now, what kind of DVD drive would it come with? The Samusung, Hitachi, or BenQ? Thanks.

Probably about 75% of the time you'd get a Hitachi 0079FK drive, unless you find some older lot numbers. Then you may get lucky with a Samsung MS28.

really? all new xboxs come with the 0079fk hitachi?

Premium and Cores you can still find all drives on the shelves, because plenty of old stock is still out there. Look for one with a lot number lower than 710 and you'll get an easy to flash Hitachi or Samsung drive. With the Elites you'll only find a BenQ or 0079 at this point.
