psp downgrading/upgrading to cfw

after my friend has upgrade my psp to fw 3.52, i was wondering if i can downgrade to 1.50. now i know that it can't be downgraded. is a 3.52 downgrader coming out any soon? they say it's almost impossible to crack the new psp fw's security, but i gonna wait. if they dont come out with a downgrader, then i'll have to spend $29.95 on a downgrader at www.downgradepsp.com. also, can i upgrade my psp fw to cfw 3.52 m33 or 3.53 m33 (if there is one..)?

dont fall for crap websites... and no even if they do come out with a 3.53 m33(which is not real(yet(if it ever will be but i doubt it))) you will still have to go back to 1.50 to upgrade to any custom firmware so smack your friend then kick him... for me

Isn't this the same thread I just explained as to how exactly that website works?? They can't downgrade it!!!! They can give you a step by step guide to downgrading it up to 2.60! We currently have downgraders for up to 3.50, so they are WAYYYY behind! DUDE, YOU'RE STUCK!!! 3.52 (Official) is pretty damn locked tight. Thus far no one has been able to find an exploit. That being said, most teams (M33 and LE) are more focused on either there next update or the up coming PSP 2000 series offering a base FM of 4.00. Whichever team reverse-eng 4.00 on the new and improved PSP 2000 will truely be crowned "TOP DOG" in the PSP world. Reputation and pride is what it will come down to.
There is no excuse NOT to mod! Don't follow the rules, make them!

does anyone have the links for the 3.50 sony fw so can upgrade to it the the links for the downgrader after that all i would need is the 3.40 o.e-a cfw any help would be greatly appreciated ty...

You can get all the firmware files you need at http://dl.qj.net (including official firmware and custom firmware). Use the search button.

What firmware does your PSP have?
Here is 3.50 firmware.
HERE is the 1.50 firmware which you will need for downgrading.
Here is 3.50 downgrader.
Here is a guide on how to downgrade from 3.50 to 1.50 with Lumines.

You have to have a PSP with 1.50 offical firmware or CFW to downgrade with pandoras battery unbricker/downgrader.

Yes, but you could make it on someone elses PSP.

If he knows someone with a PSP with 1.50 or CFW on their PSP then yeah he could use it. but if he dosen't then he will have to go the above route.

ok, i'm confused.. i don't know what this pandora thing is and if smoeone i know has a cfw or 1.50 fw, what does he/she need to do wit the battery pack? please tell. i dont get this stuff yet

Have you ever heard of a Jig-Kick? It's what sony use to fix bricked PSPs for a nice sum of money :)
This is exactly what the Pandora battery is. The programs will convert the memory stick and battery into a Jig-Kick so you can unbrick. Afterwards you can change them back into a normal mem stick and working battery.

The homebrew can also downgrade a 3.51 or 3.52 PSP to 1.50 firmware so you can upgrade it with CFW. But you will need a PSP that has 1.50 offical firmware or a PSP with CFW on it.
