Wow, its been a while since I been here, but here's my problem. My friend let me borrow his PSP over the weekend and someone I know showed me this sick 3.52 M33 theme. I wanted to get it but his PSP was at 3.40 OE so I upgraded to 3.52 M33. The dude I know sent me his xmb theme. When I saw the .rar he sent me, he modified some files that I thought were unusual, like the KN and KD folder. When I got the xmb theme, I got the following problems:
* OSK was randomly spacing when you change your name, when you go to the Internet, etc, making you unable to type anything
* Home button screen froze
* 1.50 recovery and fw updates requiring you to press the button like a button-mashing game cause it exits as soon as you open it
* Homebrew freezes
* Recovery menu loads first then the XMB
I have tried everything from recovering to 1.50, reinstalling the cfw, installing LE, OE, and M33, upgrading and then downgrade to 1.50. If anyone know how to get everything back to the way its supposed to be, please help.

No I didn't, which is odd cause I always do that first.
@Foxrider
Yea, it formats the F0 but I don't understand why I'm having this problem.

well when ever i get a semi brick i always just go to recovery mode and flash0,and put my original flash0 back in,you said that this them had kn and kd folders,well i dont know what the kd is used for, but there are things in the kn folder that can change the custom firmware info,so try getting your hands on the original kn and kd folders for the custom firmware you are using.

If you want safe and reliable CXMB, go to www.evolvexmb.com. It's free to register and they have some really good CXMB's. With them, all the files are stored in struture, meaning, there are typically a FONTs folder and two system folders. All you have to do is copy the three folders into the rott directory of the flash0, let it copy over all files and folders and because it's structures, the files are placed where they need to be for you.
There is no excuse NOT to mod! Don't follow the rules, make them!

Well, I went up to 3.52 M33 like I said before, its not like its going to do much difference if I put the 4th update.
Edit: Just as I thought, it didn't do anything. The person I know (who I'm now calling a lamer thanks to what happened) got the White DNA theme and modified almost every possible thing on the psp.

Have you tried format flash1? Firmware re-flash sometimes won't format the flash1 automatically. Just to to toggle flash1, and delete everything. Re-boot your psp.
#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe
Whatever happens, happens...

Flash1 is NOT the problem. F1 formatting doesn't help if you have a problem in the F0. All it does is just reset the settings if you format it.

Please, there was stuff already f****d up on the PSP anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if he would brick it again.

Actually it turns out that the R trigger is 'stuck' which causes the spacing in the osk and recovery mode to load up all the time. But it doesn't feel stuck tho. The home screen is still a problem tho, its frozen
Btw, I bricked it and unbricked it and the home screen is still frozen..
