analog nub is acting wierd

ok, sometimes when I'm not moving the nub, it moves down on its own. This really isn't much of an issue in game but it gets annoying when I use IR shell to listen to music in the background. It causes it to go into some wi-fi intializing screen (L + nub down) then crash when I hold L (L + SELECT is how to go to the music screen). So my question, is there any way I can fix the analog stick without opening up my psp?

mine sometimes moves VERY slightly to the left, which can be annoying

i think the ONLY way is to open the psp.
has it gotten wet before?

mines not really a problem right now, so im not going to open up my psp :P, and it hasnt gotten wet. That i know of

it didn't get wet, I never leave it near any liquid. I'm a bit afraid of opening it because my friend opened his and the lcd got really messed up with a cracked look and a bunch of colors >_>
