it has been announced that a ps3 iso loader is finaly coming out on the 9th of september 2007, there is a video confirming it to work on firmware's 1.80-1.90, but games that require firware 1.70 to play... can not be emulated but the ottom@n team are looking for a cure on this so dont panic, paradox and ferrox are a joke!![/b]

UPDATE: there was a first video sayin release date in september, and when they booted the iso loader is was just sayin general stuff:
loading......
searching for backed up games or something
loading games n some other stuff
but i must say it looks very convinving and they have change the look of the loader from the last video so they must have made modifications to it.

sounds like great news, just wont keep my hopes up yet.
any word if you can play online w/o being detected or if iso's can be running off an external harddrive threw usb?

This Ottoman loader appeared a while back on youtube.
I hate to say this to you all but,... its a fake!
take a look at the link in the first post again and note what the comment above says about the curtain.
The AV cable from the PS3 seems to appear from behind the curtain and go into the monitior. Propbly a DVD player behind the curtain feeding into the Tv and a chap behind the curtain doing a well timed otheros boot on the ps3 in shot via a tv on his side of the curtain.
Also the chap waves a ps3 pad infront of the camara. Oh wow.. he has another PS3 pad. Sweet!!!
but oh, he never pushes any buttons in view. and when he does is the PS button and its badly timed. Oh, end of video.
Fake.
If it worked it would be out already.
Why wait for 9/9/07?
because FW 2.00 will be out and ottoman can claim the iso loader no longer works and wont release it till its fixed.
These fakers just hold back the real legends.

well if u read wat it said in the video it said there still workin on it soo errr y would it b out if it didnt work properly yet.
well jus see on the 9/9/07 then we'll really c if its a fake or real coz im gettin annoyed coz 1 aint come out after a year

Fake guys, the camera angle changes, he presses buttons like a crazy man, the PS3 Actually turns off when the loader is in progress, so a few things their to show us all its a fake, not a bad attempt at one tho!

These no reason why they should have it fixed by 9.9.07 for the other FW's. If its not fixed then they still release it? then release it!

Enough with all this piracy crap with the ps3, even if some people use it to make their games load faster (which it wont because most games cache the info from the disk to the hdd anyway on its own). You all know damn well that there's gonna be thousands and thousands of noobs jacking games of the net. Do you want the ps3 to turn into the dreamcast or something?
Homebrew is great so that's what they should be working on if all those hackers/crackers are really as wise and powerful as most people make them out to be.

seriously plp ... just get a part time job and just pay the fucking 60 bucks.. is not bad at all since u probably gonna work 5 hrs and u gonna get more time of fun out of it.. stop worrying about the loader.. seriously it is pretty far away until is comes out.. u know sony is not stupid at all. they know security is pretty damn good.. u can clearly tell that since they even let u install linux on it.. common sense.. they sure knew what they were getting into if the let u install an operating system. i can see a modchip being created but hardly a actual sofware mod.

I totally agree... I'm not going to sit here and say I dont want an ISO loader... I'm not going to lie, I pirate the hell out of all my ps2 games,movies,etc.... But damn, if the PS3 doesnt really show immediate procress with "ISO loading", then buy the damn game.... It is easier to scrape up the money to buy a ps3 game than it is to constantly search the net looking and wasting time for an iso loader..

What I dont get is that most people are quite happy to pay the (whats regarded as) insanely high price for a PS3 but they can afford to pay for a game or 2 every month, wheres the logic in that?

Not to mention the rather large internet bill needed to pay for such a large data cap, 10-20gb per game cant leave much for anything else and not everywhere has unlimited downloading.
