i was just wondering if there was a program to put on to your psp that works like a sat-nav, gps systems or even a google earth.

I currently have GPS running on my PSP and I live in the States. I bought a PSP-290, and am running MapThis! .5 using GMDL to download and build maps. Works great. You can also use a separate GPS unit with a serial out (NMEA compliant) to connect to the PSP, but it looks a bit cumbersome.
