hello, in order to run ISO's from my memory stick, I understand I need a disc in the UMD drive.

Can this be any type of disc - even a "PSP demo disc" which are on Ebay for $1 or $2 ?

Thanks kindly for any info.

Yes, any UMD Game disk is fine, i use the demo disk that came with my PSP. Though 3.52 M33 has a 99% working no-UMD driver.

Has to be a game, not a video UMD.

the combination 1 that was released w/ the launch PSP is alright though.

it's really just a video demo of everything but it's done in such a way it works, probably something to do w/ each portion being accessed thru the XMB (Video/Music/Game)

otherwise u should be able to find some sort of game really cheap, hell some of them are $2 at pawnshops.

in 3.52 M33 the no-UMD (sony np9660 driver) is 99% compatible so will run all but 2 games (so far) without UMD

1.52>2.0>1.5>3.40 OE-A>3.71 M33-4
3.60>4.01 M33-2

hello, I read the specs for M33 and it mentions this:

- Added umd video iso support. The umd video isos are playes using vshmenu. Video isos go in * /ISO/VIDEO folder. They require an UMD inserted because NO-UMD does not work.

It appears I still need a UMD inserted for video ISO's.
Can someone please clarfit what video ISO's are ? - are they simply movies ?

thanks for any help

yeah. there them psp movies they sell at the store. you just dump it in the memory card and convert it to an iso and you could play it.
