Why isn't anyone (or so it seems) using dual boot firmware? from what I've read, it seems like the best way to mod your 360 without getting banned. Heres where I heard about it: http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=513185
Or does a modchip having an on and off switch basically the same thing?

My repply would be, what is the use for that? If you mod your system you obviously want to back up games and play your backed up games. There is no other reason to mod it.
So this would only be useful if you planed to buy and use only originals for Xbox Live. If that is the case buy them and keep your system unmodded.
