I use swap magic 3.6 and can play most games just fine. I tried one today and booted normally and the screen was flickering, so I booted with NTSC mode and the flickering was gone, but the bottom of the screen was cut off. What causes this problem? The TV? PS2? or Swap Magic? Thanks

It's most likly a PAL game. See if you can ahust the screen in options on your game.

the thing with the lower part missing is from the tv. because it can't read both formats (pal/ntsc) there are some errors... from what i've experienced, the difference is in resolution... 720x480@NTSC, and 720x576@PAL, the pal version has a slightly higher vertical resolution, and the ntsc version is smaller, hence the missing part of about 96 pixels
