I am confused. I tried to reply to an older thread but was unable so I started a new one.

I am trying to burn Guitar Hero II to a disc. I have tried it 2 times and it did not work.

Am I supposed to extract the winrar file first and then burn it using PowerISO or do I burn the file directly to the disc?

Sorry to sould dumb, I am justing getting started this process and I having a hard time understanding>

If you have just an ISO file then just burn it with DVD Decrypter at half your media's speed.
If you have part1.rar,part2.rar or 001,002 files then you need to extract them first to a folder you remember. You should then have an ISO file and can then burn it.

And most of the time a part01, part02... archive is a pirated game. Also ImgBurn is the successor to DVD Decryptor and made by the same person (LIGHTNING UK!).

I am overlooking something. I have burned a game and I have compared it with an actual PS2 game on my pc. The files are identical but the one I burned will not play. What am I doing wrong? It is a confirmed working game that i am burning.

I am using Memorex DVD-R. I used Alchol 120% to burn at the slowest speed. I am not using any PS2 mod. Is that why my discs won't play?
