why would you want to brick it?
you can use Pandora on a non-brick anyway to try it out...

but if you do want to brick then either toggle USB on flash0 and delete it, or upgrade the FW and remove the power in the middle

strange request :)

1.52>2.0>1.5>3.40 OE-A>3.71 M33-4

Whilst you are upgrading your firmware, if you take the battery and/or power cable out, it will brick your PSP.

You can also brick your PSP by going into Recovery -> Advanced -> Toggle USB (flash0) and deleting all the files.

But as bu22ard said, if you want to test out the pandora battery/mem stick, you can run it on a fully working PSP.

You want a guarenteed way to brick, run the 1.50 Recovery Winstaller and run it. Then go into Recovery Mode and downgrade back to 1.50. During the process, it will load PSAR into RAM, then it will delete flash0 and flash1. Then it will install. It goes by 7%, 14&, 21& and then it gets random. Disconnect the AC Adapter and remove the battery at 40-50% Creating files. This will guarentee bricking of your system.

... Simply removing it won't do it. Like I said, run 1.50 Recovery Winstaller. It will place the recovery files on your memory stick. Now remove the plastic cover over the battery, but do not remove the actually battery. The battery should now be exposed. Then go into Recovery Mode (hard boot while holding R-Trigger) and run the Recovery option. It will first check the files, load them, delete the flashes, and then install the files. At 40-50% of "Writing files ... xx%" disconnect the AC Adapter and tip the PSP upside-down give it a good slap so the battery falls out. Now I dare you to try and boot it back up! BRICKED!

Alright kiddie. You tell me that you've followed my steps exactly and no brick, I'll tell you that you're a lying sack of ****! I'm sure anyone here will confirm with my method that it WILL brick your system. If you tell me it won't work, just Google, "PSP Brick Trojan". It is a homebrew app that claims it will downgrade your PSP to 1.50, but will corrupt your flash entirely. And, once you're done lying and being an ***hole, maybe you will tone down the language. You're like a little 4-year-old whos favorite toy was just taken away.

Yes, you can use the pandora battery on a bricked PSP, that's what it's there for.
