Hey guys...i'm just wondering , say i have a AVI file of a Movie, without menus , now say this , i use DVDsanta and i converted the AVI to a DVD format...Now say this , I get the same DVD and get the same files, and put the menu VOB files into the (just get the menu files.) and put it into the VIDEO_TS files. will i be able to burn it and then be able to watch the movie Full and good with the menus or no?
Let me see if I understand this. You converted an AVI to be DVD compliant. Now you want to take the menus from the actual DVD and put them with the converted AVI DVD files. The answer is no because the converted AVI has a different structure than the original DVD. Can you kludge the original menu to the converted DVD? Yes, if you want to use IFO Edit or some other program and reconfigure the links. The question that now arises is why, if you have the original DVD, you would want to use the converted AVI files in the first place as the video quality is, in all likelihood, less than the original DVD you have.

my question is this, if you can get he menu files from the dvd, why not burn the entire dvd instead of making yourself go crazy trying to do fancy things?
