And, that's exactly what the subset is, it's only a minimal version of 1.50, you can "update" to the normal 1.50 afterwards. Then up to any custom firmware.
I'm not sure about upgrading to official firmware again, it depends if it destroys the keystorage.

Actually you dont have to update to the "1.50", you can install the 3.52 m33 right after the downgrade.

Yes, but not with OE or LE so it's easier to suggest updating to 1.50 without having to ask what firmware thay plan on updating to afterwards.
