Would it be possible to create a jigkick battery using the PC to write the new serial number? I see mention of the battery having a serial connection, if that is the case then there should be a way to connect it to a PC and interact with it. Being able to do this would be a great help to those folks that do not have access to another PSP with 1.5 or custom firmware. Perhaps some sort of homemade cable in combination with a special-made program or using a PSP emulator on the PC. Any ideas?
I myself would love something like this as I am stuck with 2.82 firmware and no access to Lumines, GTA:LCS, or a custom FW PSP.

Are you kidding me? If you can connect your PC to your PSP, all you have to do is install Pandora's Battery onto your PSP. From there, it will mod your battery for you. However, don't forget to BACK UP THE EEPROM on your battery before modding it! If you don't, you will be forced to use the false code (x12345678). If it works, it will work perfectly. If it fails, it will flash your PSP without being instructed to do so, shut down at random intervals, or "tricle-charge sydrome" where the battery takes 2-10 times longer to fully charge and the life of it is reduced.

He can't create a Pandora's battery because he doesn't have a homebrew enabled PSP.

I believe that is why the instructions to installing Pandora CLEARLY state that you must use a second PSP system that is CFM or 1.50 if your primary is already bricked or Official Firmware. I would think by now, you people would understand what it is that you're talking about!?!
Maybe I should clarify my original post. What I mean is it possible to make a custom cable that runs from the serial port on the computer to the serial connector on the battery itself? This would bypass using a PSP entirely and interact with the battery. Then somehow the PC would write directly to the battery and create a jigkick.
Certainly this would be a great addition to the PSP scene, being able to create the jigkick without needing a custom FW or 1.5 PSP. If anyone out there with the knowhow sees this please work on the idea!
