Could Mac Os X run on PS3?

Sony's PS3 uses a Powerpc based processor and can run another OS such as Linux. So would it be far fetched to try to run Mac Os X? Technically all you need to do is make a custom boot loader for the PS3, right?

Hey ive wondered this too, on another reason is mac osx is a unix based operating system is it not? Im sure someone will do it someday thon0925

That would be sweet. I think that the problem that people are having now is a boot loader for osx. Also we still have the hypervisor stopping us from doing anything to great with it.

If we could pull some resources from osx86 developers I'm sure they could make a ps3 bootloader.

These are the specs required to run it on a Mac.
PowerPC G3, G4, or G5 processor
Built-in FireWire
At least 256MB of physical RAM
A built-in display or a display connected to an Apple-supplied video card supported by your computer
At least 3.0 GB of available space on your hard drive; 4GB of disk space if you install XCode 2 developer tools
DVD drive for installation
