Boot HD Loader from HD using Swap Magic?

Ok guys heres what I have:
Swap Magic 3.6 DVD and CD Versions w/swap tool
A hard drive
A fat ps2 w/network adapter
All of the common utilities (WHIIP, Hdloader, etc..)

I am wondering if it is possible to just boot from the Swap Magic DVD each time and then swap magic could possibly boot HDloader from the hard drive? I've seen that Swap Magic can run an elf on startup from a USB device so long as it is in the /SWAPMAGIC/SWAPMAGIC.ELF form. So my question is can I add a HD Loader .elf or something to the hard drive that swap magic will boot? If this isn't possible, then will the next best choice be to just setup the MC exploit.

When you say run off the hardrive. Do you mean internally or externally? I am assuming you are meaning internall. I dont think swap magic can run an elf file off an internal hdd on boot.

And well yip the best thing to use is the ps1 exploit.
You can also use swap magic 3.6 or higher to boot an elf file off the memorycard to. So would pretty work the same as the ps1 exploit.

I havnt dont this in a long time so cant remember the steps. but if I can remember theres a file on the swap magic site that lets you do this, you will have to edit the iso file and put in your elf files.
