Hi I'm new to this forums and I'm a total noob ^_-...
so I got a problem, I created the Pandora's battery because, I wanted to downgrade my psp 3.51 and I used a video tutorial and formated the memory stick normal and logically, then did everything according to the tutorial (even took out the memory stick before getting out of usb mode) and everything went alright, I downgraded then after it says "remove Pandora's battery and insert a new one" I pres X and remove the battery and connect the AC adapter and turn it on and I hear everything but can't see the screen!!! so what I'm doing wrong??? plus if I leave it on the screen shows but if I press a button it the screen goes off again!!!
so please somebody help me...
ps. please be gentle this is my first post and If i put it in the wrong place I'm very sorry ^_-
I believe this is the right place to post this. As far as your problem goes, did you use a 3.51 psp to create the pandoras battery? Because that may be your problem right there. Did you back up your files by pressing triangle?
PSP, all the way from 1.00 to 5.50 GEN D2 - DS Lite w/ M3DS Real (M3 Sakura v1.34)
PS3 3.01 - iPod Touch 2G 16GB Jailbroken - Xbox 360 60GB - PC, Q6600, 3GB DDR2, GTX260 (216) 896MB
I used my friend's psp with 3.40 OE a custom firmware to do all the pandora's homebrew applications. I mean I did everything like the tutorial. and Link3737 if you mean that if I backed up my files by pressing triangle in Pandora's menu (where is says nod or whatever) no I didn't, it didn't said that I should on most of the tutorials I saw or read, is that the problem??? and if is can I fix it somehow???

Try pressing the brightness button if the screen isn't showing anything. I have seen some have issues like this and pressing the brightness button will light the screen.
If you didn't back up your battery eeprom you can do the below steps...
If you only have one battery and want to unbrick your PSP, you can.
1) Convert your battery into a jigkick one using "Pandora's Battery Creator", but before you press X, press TRIANGLE to backup your battery's EEPROM to ms0:/eeprom.bin
2) Unbrick your PSP as normal
3) When you are done unbricking, take out the battery and the magic memory stick. Start up the PSP using the AC adaptor (do not try to use a USB charger, it will not start up)
4) Insert the magic memory stick and the magic battery
5) Run "Pandora's Battery Creator" again
6) Look at NOTE: below
NOTE: You can also restore a battery without having made a backup, by pressing SQUARE at step 6. This will generate a fake serial for your battery (0x12345678) which allows it to work normally, but there could be side-effects.
But as it says there could be side effects. But at this point thats the only way you can try to recover your battery for normal use.
larrylje thanks I pressed the brightness button and it worked ^_^...
I kinda forgot to save my battery's EEPROM to ms0 -_-... but question what are this side-effects??? is it that the battery may not work or is it that it might damage my psp???
well thanks everybody who took the time to help me out on this ^_-...
