Hi there!

I'd like to know which program do you suggest for downloading my videos from the camcorder (firewire).

I typically use Captureflux, but I'd like to know if there's another chance...

I logged in on March 1st 2005, and it's incredible to believe that in so short time I've learnt all that I know about DVDs from this forum...

Thnx! Are they for free? Which provides best resolution? Or are they all similar? Easiest to use?

Nero and Roxio are not free. WMM is, and I am not sure about the others.

As long as you use Firewire and capture in DV-AVI you're actually doing a digital bit-for-bit transfer, so there is no quality degradation , so it does not matter which software you use.
Prbably the easiest to use, most reliable and less CPU consuming solution is WinDV. And it's free....

The site for digital video enthusiasts.
