I know it cant all by itself, but it feels that way. I just lost 2 days of recording from my TV card because Recording Input moved from Line in to Mic in and I DID not make this change, I have installed no new software and I am pissed off and fear it happening again. Besides what i lost (6 hours of video with NO sound) I need to assure it does not happen again. Long ago ICQ would do this, but ICQ stopped it awhile ago. And just now I checked and ICQ is not the culprit. Why cant i just set something so it cant possibly change without my manual approval?

Please help.
