The game I'm trying to run is Tenchu Stealth Assassins.
I have configured the required settings in recovery mode in order to run ISO's (runs PSP iso's just fine)
A UMD (Lumines, and yes I had it before the downgrader phenominon) is in my PSP.
I loaded the ISO into popstation, and it created my PSX_GAME 0 folder.
I took the folder and opened it to verify what it had done, and I found a large eboot file to confirm the conversion was a success. I then took the entire PSX_GAME 0 file and copied it to the GAME folder on my MS. I have also tried copying it to the GAME 150 folder as well.
When I find the application on my psp, It shows the icon, and begins to load the app, giving me the preload screen in black with white lettering. Shortly after this the screen goes black as if to load, but then I get the "could not load game 8000081" (or whatever number it is) error. This happens in either GAME or GAME 150 folders.
Hey, I had the same problem as you when I tried to play Klonoa Door to Phantomile on my PSP. I had these two files called MDF and MDI. I used UltraISO to convert the files into an ISO. I used the newly created UltraISO ISO for Popstation GUI and it created the EBOOT.PBP and KEYS.BIN files. I tried to load it and all I got was the Sony Computer Entertainment Orange Diamond thing. Nothing happened after that. Later, I found a Klonoa Door to Phantomile EBOOT.PBP and KEYS.BIN and it worked. I guess Popstation GUI doesn't support UltraISO ISOs.
My PSP Firmware History: 2.60 had to return the PSP because it had a dead pixel > new PSP had firmware 2.71 > 1.5 > 3.52 M33 > 3.52 M33-4 > 3.71 M33 > 3.71 M33 with 1.50 kernel

I did some searching and I found a bunch of front end guis.. also a Torrent file that was 134MB and it says Popstation Full Install. Thats confused me a bit.
