Hi I am a bit new to the whole chip thing but I have read allot about it. I am trying to burn a iso file I have to a DVD-R using Disk Utility on Mac. The fist time I burned with a DVD+R and when I put it in my Wii it came up in the Wii menu but when I started it did not work. I don't have any DVD-R even though thats what everyone says is needed I am going to buy some but I am not sure witch kind. Please help anything I can do?

Ok, i have a mac too. only trick is when you select the image and then press burn make sure it's a slow speed and make sure you turn verify on. I have successfully burned memorex dvd-r for xbox with the same method. it might be a bad media too so try a couple of times. pop the disc out then again. if no luck then burn another copy bad burns happen :(

I use a Mac too. I burn using Maxell Gold DVD-R's. No problems here, I burn at 4x (max) without verification.
