I have tried the link to the above site but it will not let me in, saying I am not authorized to go to that section etc. Does anyone have the file that they could e-mail to me with instructions on how to install it into Movie Clone?
Many thanks,
Fawkes.

Cheers,
Fawkes.

Hi,

sometimes the direct link does not work, then try
http://mcldecrypt.greatnow.com/
that might help.

Haven't got on to well with this myself. Suggestion - download DVD Shrink and buy copy of Nero 6. When working together I have had not issues in cloning.

Hi all, reading a few news groups, the film studios seem to have taken action against any webmasters or hosting companies that have software that descrambles DVD copy protection such as DECSS, Dvd43, mcldecrypt. I have tried through different forums asking about the files, all I seem to get are people who supply dead links!!! (Wish people check before they post)
Anyway, I have spent days searching for these files with no luck.

Also, if you are looking for mcldecrypt, you probably need it for "movie clone". I believe x-oom used to sell movie clone with mcldecrypt.dll file that bypassed copy protection, they then withdrew this file after legal pressure. Lately, they have revamped their software so if you have purchased movieclone in the last few weeks, using mcldecrypt will not work.

There are copies of movieclone on a famous auction site that say they have the old version - ive not tried it though so dont know if it works.

Hope above helps, but I am a newbie so don't trust me!

Thanks, Dee

All you need is AnyDvd from Slysoft

www.slysoft.com

or use DVDShrink instead of Movie Clone

If you don't want AnyDVD you can still try DVD43, it's free and you can find it here :D)
