A while back I copied Apocalypto using DVDFab decrypter and the main movie function. Shrunk and burned using DVDshrink. The subtitles were missing. So I went back and ripped it using full disc in DVDFab decrypter thinking somehow it didn't rip the subtitles before. But I'm still not showing subtitles when I play the movie in shrink, so I haven't bothered burning it. Letters to Iwo Jima is having the same problem. I have english subtitles ticked so I don't know what the problem is, I've never had this before.

For Apocalypto just leave the 'unspecified' audio only checked along with the subtitle's. Uncheck the other audios.

For Letters to Iwo Jima just leave the Japanese audio & english subtitles checked.

Ok I did just as you said for Iwo Jima. Still no captions. I should see the captions in the shrink preview screen correct? I don't for either movie.

I don't think you'll see the subtitles in Shrinks preview but I could be wrong - I don't remember seeing them.

Hmmm - removing these audios and keeping the english subs is what I did in Recode - it should also work for Shrink.

When you ripped with DVDFab didn't check 'remove dts audio' by chance?
On these w both audios that you need to leave at dts audio (in shrink shown as ac3-5.1)

Yeah this does suck.
Just leaving those audios only should have worked - it did for me.
I'm kinda at a loss here - the only other suggestion I have would be to try and rerip w/ DVDFab. Using the latest version - 3.1.7.6? Though even an earlier version should handle this one.
