Here's what I did...Please check to see what I did wrong...Please help or I will be doom from PSP.Will be forever in your debt...Thank You in advance. (tried it and screwed up twice)
I don't know what version of DOS I have but I have Win ZP with SP2 and the command prompt on the very top bar with right corner - square x....says C:\WINDOWS\sysem32\cmd.ex e
step 1) formated the memory stik through PSP
next...Can't get the Dos cmd to work to format memory stick logically...I've type down the spoilers example with my drive letter being F, but all it gave me was mspformat.exe is not a valid Win32 application, so I went look that pharase up in google and got something like "you might have a bad file downloaded or your computer might not work with it (I'm using Win XP with SP2) so i head out to noobz site to download a new pandora file but got the same response. (this is the normal cmd prompt on my computer.......C:\Documen ts and Settings\Name>.....so I typed this....C:\Documents and Settings\Name>mspformat F)
so I skip this step.
I created PSP\GAME and PSP\GAME150 folder....I'm using 3.52M33-3 so I put the installer and % folders in GAME150 and also put pandora battery and % folders in the same folder..Also put 1.50 eboot as renamed UPDATE.PBP
(i did all the taking out memory card and disconecting connection thing as instructed to every time.)
Run installer, got msipl.bin app and copy it to msinst folder on desktop. After this you go back into the command prompt and that's where all hell breaks loose again.
(QJ forums step 21 & 22 below)
21 In the Command Prompt, switch into the "msinst" folder... wherever you put it.
I have the unzip folder on desktop call ppp..(from this screen on DOS/command/cmd (C:\Documents and Settings\Name>)what ever you call it, this is what I what do I did...C:\Documents and Settings\Name>msinst and got...'msinst' is not recongnied as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file....so I tried this...
C:\Documents and Settings\Name>ppp...and this
C:\Documents and Settings\Name>desktop\msi nst,
C:\Documents and Settings\Name>desktop\ppp , and
C:\Documents and Settings\Name>desktop\ppp \msinst and very sad to say I got the same irritating message above.
22 Type "msinst X msipl.bin" where X is the drive of your PSP. Do not include the colon. For example, my PSP is connected at O:, so I type "msinst O msipl.bin".
I typed C:\Documents and Settings\Name>msinst F msipl.bin, and C:\Documents and Settings\Name>desktop\ppp \msinst F msipl.bin(F is my psp drive and C:\Documents and Settings\Name>...is my normal pop up screen) and got this message,'msinst' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file again.
I am doom and probably have half the size of a brain anyone else does
