i have a semi - bricked japanese wii with a wiikey modchip.

when i turn my regoin override on and save settings, i notice that it didnt save the settings which means when i go to the wiikey configuration the next time, the regoin overide is off!!

is it because my wii is semi - bricked?

when using the wiikey setup disc, it will not display what the current config is when you boot it up. It stores that info in the chip. Using the key only allows you to set the options, it doesn't act as a bios or anything where you make a change and then it shows that change every time you run the disc. If you make the change on the setup disc then its done. You won't be able to see that the change has been made but it has.

even after turning the regoin override on , pal games such as driver parallel lines and mario sunshine(Gamecube)doesnt work on my wii??

why is this happening?
