Is it ok to use a 25W soldering iron on my Wii?

I searched and found nothing that really gave me a straight up yes or no answer.

I don't want to risk bricking/breaking my Wii by using a 25W instead of a 15W so if there is a chance it will ruin my Wii I'll get a 15. I'm aware that there is always a chance I can break the Wii modding it, but I don't want the type of soldering iron to be the reason.

I believe you can. Just make sure not to leave the iron on the board too long.

I used one once and thats he first one I did and over heated a Fuse I then got a 13Watt abd never had a problem since but as mentioned before if your really careful im sure it would work fine

i would say yes. just be fast or else you can burn the chip.
