I got a modded xbox 360 from a friend (he got someone off craigslist to do it) about 6 months ago.
I don't really want to find someone in San Diego
and I don't really want to pay a whole bunch.
and I don't play xbox live at ALL.
so I was wondering if I backed up new games such as blue dragon or something of that sort, it would still work?

yeah, the newer firmware had nothing to do with the game playing or not. Actually they just made it more work for people because no backup that was not stealth would play. They did this to try to prevent (more like delay) getting banneed from XBL. The older firmware was not as picky and will work just fine.

I am in the same boat, i dont know if the newer games work , and I burned a game (Bioshock and it did not work) , does this mean its my burning method that was wrong? (I downloaded the game btw).
I burned it with Dvd Decrypter (it had a .dvd and a .iso file)
