Having problems ripping with my Pioneer DVD-305 Sci CdRom device

I have been using an older version of DVD Decrypter. I use my Pioneer DVD-305 Sci CDrom to rip the movie files because it is faster than my other devices. It was all working well until last night when i downladed the newest version of DVD Decrypter. Now I am getting read errors and it says I/O error. All of a sudden the Decryper software is having problems using the Scsi cd rom device. I tried to delete the new version of Decrypter, but now my old version is not working with the SCsi Cdrom. Does anyone have any suggestions? I think I may also need to download a ASPI. I am using Windows XP, 512mb Rambus Ram, 2.26ghz Pentium 4.
