I recently purchased a SilverStone case with the remote, the software included iMedian, isn't exactly the media player software I am looking for (it also doesn't support certain file types I have). I currently use Media Player Classic with FFDshow and I don't want to switch.
Anyways, I need a program that will help me sort my media.
When I play a DVD, I have a button on my remote that plays the dvd, so I don't have to browse through all kinds of folders looking for the movie/video_ts.ifo file. However, when I try to play a movie that is saved on my computer, it is difficult because I have to go through so many menus and the mouse controller on the remote is hard to use and select my file to play and very time consuming.
I would really like to have some type of software that would search my hard drives for certain media (file types that I select from a list, and must support almost all media files including HD(like video_ts, .ts, .mkv, .avi, etc...) and then on one screen give me all the files/icons (no folders or clutter, just a single file with the movie name) that I can scroll through and click/double click on the one I wish to play in Media Player Classic.
