I can't seem to get rid of them. I have subtitles disabled. I chose play movie without infinifilm. But yet all through the movie I get these stupid distracting subtitles that talk about the making of the movie and the characters themselves.

Please tell me how to stop these annoying subtitles. I do know that infinifilm is not enabled due to me actually enabling them to see what the difference is. The difference is that with infinifilm you get an even more annoying pop up that says press enter to learn more.

please enlighten me as to how to fix this. Thank You

i can't locate any of the previous threads on this movie as the string 'number 23' is atrociously generic. Anyways, this will help - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/545955 - basically you need DVDFab HD Decrypter (free) versions 3.1.5.5 Beta, or newer from here - http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm - this program is updated very frequently and is an invaluable program to have.

snippet...

"What's New:

3.1.5.5 Beta (Aug 4, 2007):
- New: Added DVDFab to DEP exception list on Windows XP/Vista, to avoid crash problem at startup in certain cases.
- New: Added "DVD Writable Media (DVD-9) Size" option.
- New: Updated language file.
- Fix: Corrupted DVD menu problem when copying "Pathfinder".
- Fix: Over-compressed problem when copying "The Number 23" (US) in "Full Disc" mode."

that's fine, don't be misled by the 'HD' in the program name, it supports HD and regular DVD's. Being a retail DVD simply means DVDFab is perfectly suited for the task as other, older programs could be used to copy from a backup, as could basic copy/paste of the VIDEO_TS folder in windows explorer.

edit- Obviously DVDFab is great for backing up backups also, not just retail discs, the encryption has been removed by then, but DVDFab is a great ripper so will just storm thru the backup disc just as easily as a retail disc
