I have read that d2b is not moddeble at this time. I may be wrong, but I'm about 75% sure. :(

You're 100% wrong. Only the D2C chipset is unmoddable.

As for the OP, you'll have to solder that point on the wiikey (3) directly to the chips leg.

How did that not help? You have to solder it straight onto the chip where the diagram shows the number 3 in red.

There is an alternate solder point for #3 in the picture.
It's one of the legs on the chip.

Gentlemen,
I've already tried to solder that pin#3 on chip directly exactly the picture indicated. However, the DVD ROM stopped spining right after game disc inserted. I would like to know if someone has made this D2B board modded successfully?

I was thinking to lift up that IC pin and solder directly to that pin. Any good suggestion?

I have soldered directly to the IC chip leg before with no problem. Do you have a multimeter? Check your continuity.

Continuity is fine. WiiKey is good as well. I was thinking to lift up those #3,4,5,6 pin and solder the wires directly instead. I just need a support to confirm D2B version does work with current Wiikey. I will post here if I get it works.

All D2B boards are fully modable regardless of point configuration.
