I have a DVD-R of my daughter's dance recital that I would like to copy to VCD. I cannot get SmartRipper to recognize that the DVD-R is in my DVD drive. My dvd software does not recognize the disk to play it. However, it does play correctly in my dvd player.

I used DVD Decrypter to read the disk and was able to transfer one of the three .vob files. On the rest I received errors. The files are approximately 1 gig in size.

Does this make any sense to anyone? Any ideas on how I can get all three files transferred without errors?

Some DVD-ROM drives are picky with the DVD-R discs, try other DVD-ROM drive.
