Seems that recently, no matter which version I use (from 2.50 to 3.xx), after writing the movie to the hard drive and the program prompts me to insert a blank DVD, after inserting it and clicking on 'start' to start the burn process, it says 'COMPLETE' right away and locks the program up. I then have to re-start at least a couple of times, then it'll burn properly.

Back when I first got the program there were no problems at all. Recently installed Roxio Easy CD/DVD Creator ver6 (which is working perfectly)...could this be a conflit, or??

Please help!

Roxio is probably conflicting. You can get better support at:

the "Direct CD" function of EZCD is a known problem....try uninstall, then custom install and unclick the box for the "Direct CD" program. Now, if you are in need of Direct CD, then you may be SOL.

you can also go to task manager and shut down ezcd in there without uninstalling it.

Thanks for everyones reply. I'll disable Roxio's Direct CD and Drag-to-disc features (per 321 studios recommendations) and give it a crack. Will post back if something goes left on me.
