yes they can be flashed.

Theres a tutorial stckied at the top of the forum on how to flash it with ixtreme 1.2 :D

Yes they can all be flashed but if you get a V79 HITACHI which is very probable on an elite... desoldering of the TSOP needs to be done... also the BENQ drive is still not flashable at this time... so you will either get a V78 or V79 Hitachi or a BENQ drive w/ an elite system.... If you don't care about the HDMI port then get a Premium system and more than likely you will get a flashable HITACHI or SAMSUNG.... Buying an elite is a crap shoot...
