Help w/ xbox dvd drive

My drive will not stay closed. When the eject button is pressed to close or open, it does so. But once the drive is closed, it automatically opens. What the f*** is up with that? Prior to this, the drive worked fine, read games w/out a hitch. Any solutions, please help!!!

Either a bad controller board (Where the buttons are) or corrosion on the traces that run the front of the board!

Troubleshooting hint...

Have you got a buddy that can lend you his Xbox drive for two minutes?

See if it still does it with another drive. If it does it will be the above solution. If it doesn't do it, then you know it's your drive and we can move on with fixing it!
