Hi guys.
I am just new and I have damn headache about my nintendo wii system.
I just purchased my wii couple weeks ago from future shop through online. I tried to put mod chip from my friend game shop. My friend told me the new Nintedo wil motherboard changed to prevent putting mod chip. Does anybody know how to install mod chip to my wii sysetem? By the way, my system is really brand new. It's newer than previous unmoddable wii system. Thank you and please help!!

what is the chipset? Do you see D2C etched into the chip on the mobo? If you have D2C then you are screwed my friend. There is no chip for that wii model yet.

Thank you for the quick answer. I have no idea about d2c chipset or d2b something. But, my friend told me the whole motherboard is changed compare with previous one. He told me to wait. After I screwed my first wii (downloaded mario party 8 game and it screwed my old system), I am having damn headache. Anyway, Thanks for helping!!

well it more than likely is d2c chipset. Only way to know for sure is to crack open the case and look. D2c is missing a whole solder point. They just cut the legs on d2b. d2b was never un moddable. There is only one unmoddable and its the d2c
